Grades 6, 7 & 8 CCD Program
Grades 6, 7 & 8
Grades 6, 7 & 8 are continuing the standard text for middle and upper grades. Daily prayers should be memorized by this grade and the children are prepared to receive Confirmation.
Children are tested in their knowledge of the Catholic faith and are required to prepare a written report on a saint and take a final oral exam with the Pastor. They continue to recite the Rosary weekly and perform 20 hours of Church Community Service.
Father Romanowski talks every week for a short lesson on the Gospel reading or a particular Saints life. Once per month the opportunity for the children to go to Confession is available.
